Total relaxation : The head : with the head turned left, rest it on a soft pillow. --> The advantage : in this position, the head is supported by the cushion, the vertical vertebrae and the muscles holding them together are no longer in demand. They can as a result be totally relaxed since they are no longer required to support them. The arms : Placed along the body, the arms are relaxed, the palms are side up. --> The advantage : This relaxation of the arms brings about the total relaxation of the shoulders and the upper part of the back. These points tend to rise and rub against each other at the slightest stress level. The legs : fold both legs under the body, as if in fetal position. --> The advantage : This posture, which presents no difficulty, allows the preservation of body heat in the center of the body. It allows the gentle recovery of its energy. The back : The back should be perfectly flat. The bust rests without putting pressure on the thighs. --> The advantage : This position stretches the lower part of the back, often compacted due to long hours spent standing up. The pressure exerted on the stomach relieves the swelling sensation. The buttocks : By resting on a cushion, buttocks are lifted. --> The advantage : Their weight is not dissipated to the legs and particularly not to the knee joint, which can become flexible without the trauma. Lifting of the buttocks helps the back stretch forward for better comfort sensation at the level of the vertebral column. More Well-being tips : Keep in that position for 5 to 6 minutes on condition that you do not catch a cold or hurt your knees. From time to time, turn your head on the other side. For an optimal relaxation, do like babies : oscillate gently left to right and hum to ease respiration. For more information please download "The Future of Food" |
